Marvel Entertainment has announced that the name of their Spider-Man reboot will be called Spider-Man: Homecoming. It’s cute, but one can assume it will have a double meaning beyond Marvel getting their spider boy back. The logo is a bit cartoony, but so is his costume in Captain America: Civil War, so maybe that’s just the vibe their going for.
In villain news, BirthMoviesDeath is reporting that the Vulture will appear in the film, though possibly not as the main villain (not unlike Dr. Conners/Lizard is the original trilogy). Back when Sam Raimi wanted to put the Vulture in his Spidy film, John Malkovich was rumored to be in consideration.
We’ll find out more as we get closer to the July 7, 2017 release date.
