In our Back to the Future Fan Art Contest, we asked you to re-imagine Back to the Future as if it were made by a different filmmaker, and we’re happy to announce our winners!
First Place: Jack Crowder- David Cronenberg’s Back to the Future
We loved the idea of a David Cronenberg directed Back to the Future, and the tagline “To live he must seduce his mother. To go home he must be struck by lighting” is not only very Cronenberg, but also oddly very accurate. And just look at that casting!
Second Place: James Lynch- George Costanza as Marty McFly
The very notion of George Costanza having to attempt to set up eighteen year old versions of Frank and Estelle is priceless.
Third Place: Timothy Saxby- Christopher Nolan’s Back to The Future
This is a simple tweak to the original, but captures the brooding tone of Nolan’s films.
Our first place winner will receive the Limited Edition Back to the Future™: The Complete Adventures Blu-ray set and a Back to the Future Delorean lighter courtesy of BacktotheFuture.com, an autographed picture of Jeffrey Weissman as George McFly (donated by Jeffrey Weissman himself), as well as a Film Dumpster t-shirt and bumper sticker.
Our second place winner will receive an autographed picture of Jeffrey Weissman as George McFly (donated by Jeffrey Weissman himself), as well as a Film Dumpster t-shirt and bumper sticker.
Our third place winner will receive a Film Dumpster t-shirt and bumper sticker.
Thank you to everyone that participated!
